Since the invention of facebook, who really blogs? Okay, well, what I should really say is, "when can i fit in blogging, when i'm always on facebook?"
Well, I thought I would try to update my blog from time to time. I should do a better job of it, but I find myself enjoying facebook way too much.
But I'll try ... just for you avid readers out there :)
So here's an interesting story to share. Well, sort of.
I was in the parent bathroom with Eli earlier today. And while I was carrying Eli, my knee locked and I basically collapsed on the floor in pain. Eli wouldn't let go of me, so here I am carrying Eli, balancing herself and myself on one leg as I am crouched on the floor, while I tried to manage the pain of the other leg and try not to touch the floor with my hands or my clothes.
As I am trying to get Eli to stand (which she kept refusing), I am withering in so much pain that I just want to cry. I hear this guy on his cell phone just out the door, so I try to inch my way on one leg to the door, thinking I will try to get the guy to look for JC somewhere outside. Eli is still refusing to let go of me, my knee is still in so much pain, and I could not get to the door.
So finally, I said, screw it ... deal with the pain Kim, you're gonna have to pop this knee back in place. As I grab my left leg, I slowly inch in straight (inside I'm screaming in my head) ... and after praying ... I was able to pop whatever bone locked back in place. Thank God!
Unfortunately though, my knee is still in pain and I'm limping around a little, but it's okay. At least it's fixed.
So that's my story of the day.
