I am officially burnt out.
Enough said.

On the weekend, JC and I went baby shopping ... oh my lanta it was so much fun! We went to this market where we bought all these fun and cute items for the baby. I must admit that it is a little difficult to purchase items when we don't know the sex of the baby, but I'm determined to wait for the surprise (even though, many people want me to find out).
We then spent the day walking in Inglewood and looking at various antique shops (I LOVE antique shops) ... and then found this really cute place for lunch. JC liked it so much that we're going to go back again on Friday after my class.
It was such a busy day on Saturday that as soon as I got home, I took a 2 hour nap. I was exhausted.
And then on Sunday, we were out all morning and afternoon ... so by the time I got home, I went straight to bed.
I guess I never noticed it until I overheard JC saying to his mom that I get tired more easily now. And well, yeah, it's true. I guess it's b/c i'm in my last trimester and all that ... but oh my lanta, I'm pooped by the end of the day.
Anyways, as I'm typing that ... I'm thinking I should lay down instead of blogging b/c I'm still sleepy.

So here are some random thoughts I have as an up-and-coming mom:
- will the baby look like jc or me?
- will i be able to survive labour? (just kidding ... okay, not really)
- who will the baby be more like? jc or me?
- what am i going to do when my baby is no longer a baby and is a teenager and wants to start dating? (oh my, thank God my brother goes through this period first so i can ask him ... but boys i think are easier ... what do i do if my baby is a girl?)
- will i be over protective?
- if the baby is a girl, what if she's as emotional and sensitive as i am? (oh man, jc's in trouble if this is the case! ... ha.ha.)
- how do i say "Hell No" if my son brings a girl who i think is inappropriate for him?
- how do i not laugh if my daughter comes home with a boy and my husband and his brother are waiting at the door with a shot-gun?

The above picture was taken last Friday when JC took me out for my 30th birthday. I know it's a little late, but we've been so busy with work, school, and personal events that we have not had the time to celebrate. So, we finally had a date night ... and JC took me to this amazing restaurant. Oh my lanta, we had so much fun! It's been awhile since we went out for an evening with just the two of us ... so it was really special. We're hoping to be able to go out a few more times before the baby arrives ...
The baby is moving a lot ... it's amazing b/c when i'm sitting or lying down I can actually SEE the baby moving in my tummy. It was sort of surreal the first time it happened ... kinda freaked me out to be honest ;) Baby is moving so much that I think he/she is as hyper as my husband. Oh my lanta, I cannot wait to have a little JC running around the house.
Anyways, I should get back to studying b/c I want to get to bed soon. So hoping you are well out there in internet-land.

I'm exhausted.
I should have listened to my husband. He was right.
Man, I shouldn't admit that in writing!
But really, he suggested to take only 2 classes ... but I was determined that I could do it! I could do 3!
Oh boy, am I regretting it.
I'm so tired and so exhausted. But at least my presentation went well!!! (i think!)
Well, I'm going to take a nap before class ... just 2 more months to go ... and then I'm off!!!!!
Thank God.
