Oh my what a week.
I find that many of my classmates (myself included) are feeling quite burnt out this week. I don't know what it is, maybe a combination of school and work ... many of my classmates work before classes (so at 7:00 am - meaning they have to get up at 5:00 am) ... go to school ... and then back to work ... oh my lanta.
But i can't complain b/c i am enjoying the content that i am learning, plus i have an excellent support system here at home ... it would be so much more difficult for me if i didn't have my husband and my in-laws helping me out.
By the way, i received my first A of the semester!! Woo-Hoo!! To be honest, i was pretty scared going into the exam b/c it was my first exam of the semester ... but God blessed me with an A ... Woo-Hoo!!!
Oh my, and now that it is the weekend ... I plan on sleeping in tomorrow morning !!! After thanksgiving weekend, i have a paper/presentation due, plus two midterms ... so this weekend will be filled with studying and studying.
But first, i plan on sleeping in ... Thank God it's Friday!!!!

[ The Honeymoon in Italy ]
We arrived home from Italy last night ... mom & dad picked us up at the airport and had some yummy home cooked Filipino food ... how I missed mom's cooking while we were in Italy! (Oh gosh, how will i ever survive in Calgary without mom's cooking?!?!?!) (update: sept2006 - my mom still cooks up a storm when she is here in Calgary visiting ... so i am quite well fed with not only my own mom, but my mother-in-law too!!)
We spent our honeymoon in Rome, Florence and Venice ... what can i say about each city?!? All were beautiful and breathtaking ...
Rome had so much history (and you know Love and I are history buffs) and so many places to see and go ... my favourite was the Vatican (of course!) and Palatine Hills (so much history!!!) We would wake up around 6 or 7 ... and walk around the city till evening ... my legs were so sore from all the walking that my knee starting hurting by the 2nd day ... by the 3rd I was partly limping in the morning ... so tylenol became my close friend for the remainder of the trip ;)
We took the Eurotrain from Rome to Florence ... our apartment was central to everything and everyone ... and the bonus was the air conditioning! ;) We spent a lot of time walking around the city and getting to know the "unbeaten paths" ... it is a much slower pace than Rome ... and we met so many people! Did you know that there is almost 7,000 Filipino's just in Florence? The Filipino's in Italy are all so friendly and are always so excited to talk ...
Venice ... you see the pictures in post cards and in books ... but nothing prepares you for seeing it first hand ... the canals and Saint Mark's ... so breathtaking. I think of all the 3 cities, Venice is the most beautiful.
We had an amazing honeymoon ... it went by so fast ... and after each city we were so sad to leave it b/c of all the fun we had ...
I'll try to post pictures in the next couple weeks.
Next trip ... God willingly - Germany and Austria ...
(update: sept2006 - well, we didn't go to Germany or Austria, as many of you know ... we did go to other European countries though ... Thank you Lord God for your blessings! ... but God willingly maybe in a couple years we will go to Germany and Austria ... it's still one of our many dreams ...)

Well, I sure am out of the loop when it comes to people being pregnant.
My cousin - Ate My, is pregnant and due to have her baby girl in November ... OH MY LANTA! I had no idea she was pregnant ... AND so soon too!! I just found out last night ...
My other cousin - Ate Yvette, she is pregnant and due to her baby girl in February ... OH MY LANTA!
Ummn ... notice the theme here? Maybe Kuya and Daryeen will have a baby girl too!!
Is there anyone else out there that is pregnant?!?!?!!?!?

I've been so blessed with the life God has given me ... I've been blessed with such a loving husband ... at times I'm still so amazed that JC is my husband. It's funny when I think back on it ... I use to have a crush on JC since I was 12 years old ... and who would of known that one day we would be married? Isn't it amazing at how God works?
Every day I give thanks to God for the love and blessings in my life. I know it is b/c of God that we have the love and life that we have.
I am so blessed ...

Right now I am in the school library with my laptop ... and I'm blogging ... oh my lanta!
Just kidding, it's break time. I just spent the last 1 1/2 downloading notes from 5 of my 6 classes from the class websites. Geez, it really is an inconvenience not having internet at home ... but I think i can manage ... just have to rearrange time and schedules I guess.
Okay, gotta run and finish downloading all these notes and assignments ...

I am trying to take advantage of my last week of freedom ... school starts next week. Oh boy. Part of me is excited, but the other part of me is getting anxious.
So what am I doing on my last week of summer vacation? Well, I wake up at 6am, get all my guys ready for work ... and then I go back to sleep for a nap. I figured ... may as well take advantage of being able to nap - b/c once school starts, I'm back to my 10 minute snoring naps in the library or in my car ;) I am also trying to clean my clutter in my office ... yikes, I am such a mess. I know that girls are "suppose" to be tidy, but ... not this girl! My husband and my brother are much more tidy than I am ;)
By the way, my parents are here ... so you all know what that means! Yup, FOOD!! My mom is stocking up my freezer with pre-cooked food so that when I am in school I don't have to cook ... awwww ... don't you all love your parents?!?!
So this week I am laying low and trying to spend as much time with my husband, the boys, and my parents ... because once school starts, oh my oh my.
Dear God please let me do well in school.
Well, my blogging friends ... here's to my last hurrah of summer vacation ... countdown begins ...
