Last year was a big year for our family ...
May: JC and I got married ... the night before we left for our honeymoon to Italy - Kuya and Darleen surprised us by telling us that Darleen was pregnant
June: I moved to Calgary (can you believe i lived in Surrey ALL my life?)
July: Another family reunion ... but this time in Winnipeg ... my brother married his soul mate, Darleen
August: JC, Noah, Madelle and I drove out to BC, Seattle and Portland for a mini-vacation.
September: Bought our Honda Pilot!!!
November: Mom and Dad celebrated Mom's birthday here in Calgary
December: Our nephew Isaiah was born!!

Hi all ! I don't know how to make a website ... any suggestions on "easy" ways to make a site? I want to make one for Isaiah ...
Since I don't know how to make a site, I've posted all Isaiah's pictures here ... I'll update them from time to time so check it out often!
JC and I will be home next month, so for sure we'll be taking tons and tons of pictures!!

I normally don't get sick ... if I do, it only lasts for a day ... I feel miserable for the whole day ... and then the next, I'm up and about.
Yesterday I was feeling awful ... my whole body was aching and I all I could do was lay in bed ... my husband was so sweet - he took care of our guys the in the morning and evening, so I spent my morning asleep ... the afternoon asleep ... and then the evening relaxing with a book curled up in my warm bed ... I was fast asleep by 9:00 pm !!!
Ah the joys of being taken care of by your husband!
Umnn ... well, now that I'm feeling better, I better get my butt off this computer and off to Superstore for some grocery shopping!!!

Yesterday JC and I went to Ikea ... my goal was to buy 2 Christmas gifts ... well, as most of you know what happens when you enter Ikea ...
We ended up with a new desk for the office, a dresser for our room and 2 night tables ... and to top it off, i forgot to pick up one of the Christmas gifts!
When we got home, JC worked on assembling the furniture until almost 10pm ... it was so exciting to have a dresser ... for those of you who have visited us at home - know what our room use to look like. Also, now I finally have a night table! I've been using a card board box as a night table the past couple months ... I know, how ghetto - but it worked, so I can't complain.
Our office and bedroom has that nice new smell to it ... ah ... I LOVE Ikea ...

Now, I'm not being biased here ... but I really think Isaiah is super cute ...
My dad has been sending JC and I pictures and movie clips of Isaiah ... every chance I get, I press "refresh" on my email to see if there are any new pictures or video's. Thank God for the internet, huh?
I can't wait to hold my nephew next month ... everytime I think about it, I get all teary-eyed ... I'm always looking at the pictures dad sent of Isaiah ... he's so cute ...

The new family are all doing well (and for our relatives out there - yes, Kuya is doing well - your cousin and nephew did not faint! He's a proud dad ... here's to the first great-grandson to carry on the Mangalindan last name) ...

We finally bought our Christmas Tree ... we've been meaning to buy it since beginning of November, but it's been so busy ... but it was well worth the wait!!!
It's so beautiful! I can't believe how happy we are ... once I've wrapped the gifts - I'll take a picture of our tree and post it. It's so elegant ... we decided to decorate it with white christmas lights and a red and gold ribbon ... wow! My mom would be so proud :) ... The only ornaments we have on the tree are the ones we collected or made when we were dating.
When JC and I were dating, we decided on our First Christmas that every time we travel somewhere we would pick up a Christmas ornament or make one to put on our Christmas tree. So instead of a star on the top of the Christmas tree, we put our very first ornament ... I still have to make one to signify our wedding ... but wow! I'm so happy with our tree.
Ahh ... Christmas is almost here! I'm so excited ...

Well... a few weeks ago, I started playing ball again - after a 14 month hiatus. It was quite a humbling experience... not as quick as before, can't jump anymore than a few inches, trouble with timing/passing/shooting.
The mind was willing, but the body unable....
It was fun though. I think it's become more of a workout now more than anything else - it's definitely nice to sweat again!
