I must be getting old.
I don't go out as much as my parents ... and I sleep before them!
The past couple nights my parents have been going out with JC's parents ... each night they come home around midnight. The first couple nights I would try to wait up for them ... well tonight, I've learned my lesson ... I'm going to bed!
When did it happen that the roles are reversed? Even when I was still living in B.C my parents seemed to have more of a social life than I. There was one time when they didn't even come home until 3am! I fell asleep waiting up for them in the living room ... Oh and did I give it to them ... "next time call if you're going to be late" ... when did I become the parent and my parents the teenagers?
My parents seem to be enjoying their time here in Calgary ... we're already talking about when they'll come back for another visit ;)

Having your parents visit is always so much fun ... my parents have been spending time with Love, Dustin, Mike, my in-laws and myself ... I love how they are so involved with Dustin and Mike ... always playing catch with Mike and cooking all different sorts of meals for the guys.
Dad has been super busy here in the house with all sorts of projects and repairs, as mom has been busy in the kitchen cooking up all sorts of dishes! I think my boys will be super sad when mom has to leave.
Yesterday I was thinking about when they have to leave and I started getting sad ... but it's not for another couple days so why think of it?!? Right now my parents are out with Love's parents ... guess it's parent's night out ;) They are having dinner at this Japanese restaurant out in the NorthEast ... lucky guys!
It's so much fun having mom and dad here ... God willingly Kuya and Darleen will be able to visit too in a couple months. Ah! The fun!!!!

Yesterday was my first birthday as Mrs. Jeremiah!
My parents are here for a visit, so I was able to celebrate my birthday with my husband, my parents, and in-laws at Olive Garden.
I can't believe I'm 27 years old! Where have the years gone? It seems like just last week I was bike riding in Green Timbers, or playing across the street at the Romero's house.
I need to remember this day, b/c when my brother's baby turns 27 - I think that's when I'll really feel old!

Now that my wedding and my brother's wedding is finished, I am already awaiting anxiously for Ate Yvette's in 2005. JP and I have already discussed the celebrations ... oh what a time it will be!!!
I remember when Ate Mylene was married, Tito Lito said that there should be a wedding every year ... well, it took awhile, but it looks like his wish is going to come true!
I can't wait!!! I'm so excited for Ate's wedding in Cali ... another family reunion!!!
Who will be next after Ate Yvette? Umnn ...

Last week I was feeling pretty home sick for a couple days ... maybe it's partly b/c I didn't have any internet too ;)
But anyways, last week was the first time I really felt homesick ... when I first moved here I was feeling okay b/c I knew I would see everyone at Kuya's wedding ... but now Kuya's wedding is finished ... and I miss my family and friends.
The last night in Winnipeg, I was saying bye to my tita's and tito's from Surrey and I couldn't help but cry (what a baby, huh?) ... my poor tita's and Christine, b/c I think I started a snowball effect b/c they started crying too ;)
Well, it's Sunday morning and I'm feeling better (maybe b/c I have internet again ;) just kidding) ... but I had a long talk with Love ... and then had a good cry on the phone with Anne-Marie the following night ... and now I'm remembering it's one step at a time and to always remember my blessings.
I'm thankful to God for the life he has given me ... a wonderful and loving husband and family and friends ...

I bought my husband this new computer game ...
Battlefield 1942
Yesterday he started playing at 3pm breaking only for a quick dinner and to watch this boring movie we rented (it was such an awful movie we turned it off and Love went back to playing his Battlefield 1942).
Oh well, at least he's having fun though ... whereever I am in the house I can hear Love either laughing, screaming or shouting ;)

Life without a computer, internet and email can be quite the adventure!
Since coming back from Winnipeg our computer has been down and we had to purchase a new one ... goodness, not having a computer for so long is like going through separation anxiety!
I love my husband so much ... all night this evening he worked on the computer just so I can finally use my internet!
So tonight - it's catching up on my reading my friends blog sites and responding to emails ;)
