[ Baby News for Kuya ]
Want to share with all of you the news of my older brother Randy ...
Kuya Randy and Darleen are expecting their first baby this December!
The night before Love and I left for our honeymoon, we went out for dinner with Kuya and Darleen and they surprised us with the big news. I'm so excited and just can't wait for December.
I'm going to be a Tita !!!!!!!!!

We arrived home from Italy last night ... mom & dad picked us up at the airport and had some yummy home cooked Filipino food ... how I missed mom's cooking while we were in Italy! (Oh gosh, how will i ever survive in Calgary without mom's cooking?!?!?!)
We spent our honeymoon in Rome, Florence and Venice ... what can i say about each city?!? All were beautiful and breathtaking ...
Rome had so much history (and you know Love and I are history buffs) and so many places to see and go ... my favourite was the Vatican (of course!) and Palatine Hills (so much history!!!) We would wake up around 6 or 7 ... and walk around the city till evening ... my legs were so sore from all the walking that my knee starting hurting by the 2nd day ... by the 3rd I was partly limping in the morning ... so tylenol became my close friend for the remainder of the trip ;)
We took the Eurotrain from Rome to Florence ... our apartment was central to everything and everyone ... and the bonus was the air conditioning! ;) We spent a lot of time walking around the city and getting to know the "unbeaten paths" ... it is a much slower pace than Rome ... and we met so many people! Did you know that there is almost 7,000 Filipino's just in Florence? The Filipino's in Italy are all so friendly and are always so excited to talk ...
Venice ... you see the pictures in post cards and in books ... but nothing prepares you for seeing it first hand ... the canals and Saint Mark's ... so breathtaking. I think of all the 3 cities, Venice is the most beautiful.
We had an amazing honeymoon ... it went by so fast ... and after each city we were so sad to leave it b/c of all the fun we had ...
I'll try to post pictures in the next couple weeks.
Next trip ... God willingly - Germany and Austria ...

[ The Honeymoon ]
We're on our honeymoon! We're in London right now ... just waiting for our plane to Rome ... I can't believe we're really married and now on our honeymoon.
Our wedding was beautiful - more to tell when we get back in a few weeks.
Thanks to everyone who attended, we had so much fun seeing everyone.

[ Wedding Thoughts ]
Today is going to be another busy day ... family from California arrive today ... our wedding rehearsal dinner is at the house tonight ... and last minute errands to be completed.
Everyone is asking ... "so how do you feel?" ... to be honest, I'm just so excited to see everyone! My relatives from California and New York will be here, and I just can't wait to see how everyone is doing ... and to see Ernie! My baby cousin is our coin bearer, and I haven't seen him since he was 2 years old ... I'm so excited!
Last night we had our wedding rehearsal, and it was so funny! Mom, Dad and I were practicing walking down the aisle, and dad had a death grip on my right elbow and walking super slow ... mom was holding my left elbow and walking super fast ... it was so funny!
I don't think it's hit me yet that love and i are getting married in 2 days!
My worry is that everything is going to happen so fast that the next thing I know, it's Sunday morning ... I want to savor each moment of Saturday with my family and friends ...

[ Sunday - Family Day ]
On Sunday, we had a family day ... with just us kids ... Love, Noah, Kuya, Darleen, Nicky, Mel, Lauryn, Christine, Vince, Anne-Marie, Ron & myself ...
It was so much fun!!!!
I wanted to get together with my family as after the wedding it may be a long time until we will be able to spend time together as a family.
It meant so much to me for us to get together and spend so much time eating all day and playing with Lauryn.
I think one of the hardest parts about moving to Calgary is that I will not be able to watch Lauryn grow-up ... but thank God the flight is only 1 hour, so we can visit often.
[ Tuesday - Day Off ]
Today is our official 'day off' of meetings with everyone ... today Love, Noah and I are going to relax ... finish up the table names and then maybe get a milkshake at White Rock today ;)
It has been so busy since Love & Noah arrived last Tuesday ... it's been non-stop ... but it's all been so much fun!

Last night Love, Noah & I went to VJ & Michelle's house to celebrate VJ's 30th birthday ... it was so much fun seeing old friends and to catch up on how everyone was doing.
