well back to reality.
our vacation was wonderful! such a blessing from God.
i miss sleeping in my bed.

tomorrow is our last full day here in europe.
everyday my husband and i give thanks to God for this wonderful gift. it was so much fun being able to go to london, paris, and amsterdam (as well day trips to harleem & delft) ... however, the most precious gift was being able to have some quality time together.
i must admit ... going back to school and juggling school, work, and family time was a different kind of challenge ... but it was fun none-the-less.
on a side note, i made dean's list for both my fall and winter semester ... God willingly I will be able to keep that up next year as well ...
now our trip is coming to an end ... as excited as we are to go home to see family ... we are already planning our trip for next year ...

hello from amsterdam.
the last leg of our trip ... then home to calgary.
just to recap ... for our 2 year anniversary we went to London, Paris, and Amsterdam and spent 8 full days in each city ...
some ... note, only "some" of the highlights:
London
- the museums - british museum (oldest in europe) & imperial war museum (there is a very moving and touching exhibit re: the holocaust)
- watching les miserables
- walking around and seeing all the historical sites
Paris
- improving my french
- walking by the seine
- drinking coffee at various cafes and people watching
- walking around the historical sites
Amsterdam
- laid back city! so much fun
- Anne Frank house (original house, diary, etc)
- checking out the markets
- walking around
... here's to more adventures and blessings with my husband ...

Greetings all from Paris!!!
We have internet ... woo-hoo ... so hopefully I will be able to update every so often.
The above picture is of Love and I in the London Eye our first full day in London. I do not even know where to begin describing how much fun we had in London. It sure filled my thirst for history ... everywhere we turned there was something to admire ... something to take a picture of ...
We went to many "free" museums ... and only paid for the London Eye and the Westminster Abby. My loving husband also brought me to Les Miserable for our anniversary ... I fell in love right away! As soon as I get home I'm going to buy the cd ... it has always been a dream of mine since high school to see Les Mis ... and we got to in London. What a memorable experience.
Right now we're in Paris ... tomorrow is our first full day, so off to bed I go b/c we're up early to "catch the light" ... you know for good photo's ...

... wow, another dream of mine is coming true!!!
in just a few days, my husband is bringing me to london, paris, and amsterdam to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
i have always had a fascination with london and paris since i was in high school and i started learning about history. i enjoy reading history books, especially on world war 2 ... but recently i have been reading about the chinese history ... maybe one day we will get to travel to china too ;)
my husband is also bringing me to les miserable in london!!! wow, i have been wanting to see les miserable since high school! when i told j.c. about wanting to see les miserable, he has been searching for it since we started dating ... and since we were in london, he bought us tickets ... oh boy, i am so excited!!!
well, check for future posts ... i won't be posting in london, but we "might" have internet in paris and amsterdam. so i will try to post pictures and updates.
please keep us in your prayers as we travel.
