Congratulations Kuya and Darleen on your wedding!
I have so much to write about the wedding - but i think it will need to come in patches as my computer is down and I'm borrowing kuya's laptop for the evening ... i'm so lost without my computer!!
It's amazing at how time flies ... first was our wedding, and then kuya's ... next thing we know my brother's baby will be here!
Kuya and Darleen's wedding was so beautiful and so emotional! Love and I joke around that I cried more at Kuya's wedding, then at our own wedding!
My two highlights of the ceremony were:
1) When Kuya was saying his vows - he got a little teary eyed ... it was so sweet b/c when kuya started to cry Allan and Erick were right there beside him ... it was such a touching moment ... i think that's when most of the people started crying in the church too!
2) When the priest pronounced "you may kiss the bride" ... Kuya and Darleen kissed ... and then Kuya leaned down and kissed Darleen's tummy (for those of you who don't know - Kuya and Darleen are having a baby this December) ... it was so sweet! Of course I bawled my eyes out when I saw that ...
My Kuya's wedding - was so beautiful, I have lots more to share - but it will have to wait until I get a new computer ... I think it's time to give this laptop back ... dang it, b/c this is such a nice lap top!
I was able to download some pictures ... check out some of Kuya and Darleen's wedding pictures ... I'll download some more in a couple weeks ...

Well, I leave tomorrow morning for Kuya's wedding ... my husband doesn't leave until a couple days after me ...
This sucks!!!
BUT the great thing is that when we go home, we get to go home together ;)
I already miss my husband and I haven't even left yet!!!!

Love and I received our wedding video from VST Productions on Saturday and it seems so long ago since our wedding ... and now we get to celebrate Kuya and Darleen's!!!
It amazes me at how fast time flies ... next thing we know we'll be celebrating the birth of the baby.

It's always so hard when Love works the night shift ... I either have a sleepless night (like tonight) or don't sleep until the wee hours of the morning ...
Things just don't seem right unless Love is at home ... I can't sleep at night and feel so lonely ... last night I called mom pretty late to have a little talk and for her to keep me company.
Thank God tonight is Love's last night shift for awhile ... maybe tomorrow night I can get some sleep ... but for tonight, it's just my blogger and me ;)

It will be a full month tomorrow that I have officially moved to Calgary ... it's amazing at how time flies ...
They have been times where my heart aches and I feel so home sick ... although I speak to my parents every other day - sometimes it's not the same. The funny thing is that I don't miss mom's home cooked meals b/c my freezer here in Calgary is filled to the brim with frozen food from mama Nellie ;) AND the best part is that Mom and Dad are coming for a visit this Saturday!!! Whoo-Hoo !!!
I look at my blessings, and my heart is filled with so much joy as I look at my life with my husband. I feel so blessed and so thankful for gift God gave us ...
Everyday I thank God for my husband, our families and for our life together. I know none of this is possible without having Jesus the center of my heart ... all of this is a gift from God ...

... they say that here in Calgary you can see all 4 Seasons in one day ... summer, fall, winter and spring ... i have yet to experience all 4 but i did experience a little yesterday.
Yesterday it rained, hailed, thunder, lightening ... i had to run around the house shutting all the windows b/c the rain was so strong ... and then some hours later, the sun came out and it became so hot! So strange ... but worked out b/c I was able to go for a little jog after the rain cleared ...
I heard it was beautiful out in BC today ...

I can't believe it'll be only one more week until I see Mama Nellie, Papa Ben and Kuya!! I'm super excited!!! They will be here next Saturday for a visit before Kuya's wedding!
I can't wait! I can't believe it's been a month since I've seen my family ... I speak to them every 2-3 days and email quite often, but nothing beats seeing your family in person.
The highlight of the trip is that Kuya's wedding is in 2 weeks! Wow! My Kuya and Darleen are getting married!!
And then, next thing we know, Kuya's baby will be here!!!

Today is the husband's first day shift since before the wedding ... it's a little weird b/c he's normally been working nights so I'm not use to not having him home with me.
It's Canada Day today and since it's a holiday - Dustin and Mike do not have work, so they are enjoying a day off in front of the t.v.
Love and I went to Bonterra's - an Italian restaurant downtown Calgary ... it was part of Anne-Marie and Ron's wedding gift to Love and I. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant ... it reminded us of our honeymoon in Italy ... the only difference was that everyone around us was speaking english and water did not cost us 4 euro's.
