I was able to spend some quality time with my family in Surrey ... and my oh my was it so relaxing and so much fun. I had been so busy the past month that I really need this break to relax and recharge. Eli and I went ahead of JC so that we could maximize our time with my family, and then he followed a few days later once he was off work. He of course missed his clone and on the day we went to pick him up at the airport, Eli kept saying "daddy, daddy" ... how adorable.
It's amazing at much your heart melts when you hear your baby say "daddy" or "mama".
Eli's main playmate was her kuya Gabe (as kuya Isaiah was with Ninong Randy in Cali for a few days) ... and it was so much watching these two play. They would run around the house just laughing and laughing ... and Gabe would even share his toys! I think one of the funniest moments was when I overheard Eli saying "mine" ... which Darleen and Dad say that she learned from Kuya Gabe.
I must admit I was obsessed with playing with Princess Chloe's hands and feet, plus getting tons of kisses. She is such an adorable baby ... what's so cute is that her and Eli are the same size in clothes ... these girls can just share!
I also had some girl time with Anne-Marie. Ah, and how relaxing it was! We had our annual birthday at the spa. It was so relaxing and exactly what we BOTH needed. We enjoyed it so much that we agreed to do this 2x's a year from now on. We both went home and told our husbands that they will be giving us spa treatments for christmas.
Well that's pretty much the week in a nutshell. I enjoyed my time (as always) with my family, and I'm already looking for flights to go back home for Chloe's one year birthday next month.
