I really should be doing my homework ... but instead I'm playing with my new front loading washer/dryer as well as goofing off on the internet. It's 1am, and really I should be in bed, but Eli and JC are asleep, so it's "my time" ... and I am really having a hard time getting motivated to do homework. I would rather be reading, but I know that I'll regret it later. Oh well.
So, last week we were suppose to be in BC, but Eli got baby measles, so we had to cancel our trip. We decided to spend the time in Banff and Edmonton instead ... and my oh my, it was so much fun! We got this last minute deal on this HUGE room in Banff, it even had a jacuzzi in it (oh, so much fun!) ... and then had a ton of fun in Edmonton with the trains and water park. I enjoyed our family time so much that I asked JC for my birthday if we can go away for the weekend instead of him buying me a gift. I think family time is so precious ... and I love every moment I have with my husband and his clone.
I'm trying to figure out when I can go back home to visit my parents, but every week in August so far I have either school or a meeting for work. So, maybe closer to the end of August ... but hopefully I can be home for Xavier's birthday party! I would love to celebrate his big day with the gang.
Anyways, I guess I should check on my laundry and then try at least to write one or two more paragraphs of my assignment ... oh grrr!
