It breaks my heart when my little girl is sick. Last week she got a bad case of eczema and we ended up going to 2 different doctors and also have an appointment with a dermatologist. We felt so helpless and so awful because there wasn't much we could do at the time. However, with the antibiotics and topical prescribed cream ... Eli appears to be getting better.
Goodness, as a mom, I feel that everything is my fault. What did i do to trigger such an awful eczema attack? Was it the detergent? Was it something I ate? Should I have been more careful when people held her? My head keeps telling me that this is not my fault, but deep down in my heart I feel that it is ... and I feel so guilty.
It's about a week now since all of this started ... and Eli's eczema is starting to get better ... but truly it is through the grace of God. I've been constantly praying and thanking God for his love, support, and guidance.
