As of today, I am officially 37 weeks prego! Woo-Hoo!!
Well, i've got a lot to update but i've got homework, so here's a quickie update:
School
Well, school is almost done. Thank God! I had a really tough semester with work and school ... and being prego. My husband was right, I should have taken less classes - it was just too hard. But I'm blessed b/c I had a lot of support and luckily my grades are still good.
After much thought, I've decided to take next semester off. I thought about even taking one on-line course, but I thought I should listen to my husband this time ... b/c dang it he was right the first time. JC suggested to take the January semester off and take some time to myself and our baby (this time I'm going to listen to his suggestion). I only have approximately 4 classes left till I am finished my program anyways ... and I've been blessed to go full-time up until now.
I'm a little sad that I won't be graduating with the rest of my class, but at the same time, happy to take a nice break from school ... it'll be interesting going part-time.
Christmas
I finally finished decorating the Christmas tree. So the garland is up on the banisters, the Christmas tree and lights are all set ... all that's left is a few gifts and the wrapping. Oh and the Christmas cards!!! Oh my ... maybe I should just send e-cards, eh?
Baby
Well, like I mentioned - I am now 37 weeks prego. I am now visiting the doctor on a weekly basis. I feel as if the baby has dropped b/c I can breathe better ... i'm in the bathroom even more ... and my tummy even looks different (well, to JC and I anyways).
Our prenatal class was a lot of fun. Our teacher was hilarious and made the experience so much fun. Part of me wishes she was the one delivering our baby! Anyways, I never knew there was so much that JC could do to help me through the labour process and delay the usage of medication. God willingly I will have a good labour.
Also, we are having our crib and dresser delivered tomorrow. I'm so excited! I've got all the baby clothes washed ... and currently sitting in the play pen the Palma's and Faron's bought us. I followed Anne-Marie's suggestion and put all the clothes into piles of months i.e. 0-3 months, 3-6 months, 6-9 months etc to make it easier. I'm almost finished packing my overnight bag (it's currently sitting by our garage door for a quick get-away) and our car seat with blankets and warm-cover is all set to go.
I've been sleeping a lot during the day now b/c I'm up in the middle of the night for hours b/c our baby likes to kick from 11pm - 2am non-stop (not that i'm complaining b/c I like it when the baby kicks) ... so I usually sleep when the baby is sleeping as well ... which is usually from 8:30am to whenever. However, sometimes the baby likes to kick all day and all night (so that's even less sleep) ... oh my lanta, this is a hyper baby ... just like his/her dad ;)
Well, I think it's time to finish up some homework. So until my next blog update ...
