Well, my surprise weekend was quite the surprise for everyone ... well, except my husband. He had an idea that I "might" be surprising him ... but that's okay b/c we had a really good time.
It was so much fun spending time with everyone, especially Isaiah!!
We had thanksgiving at Anne-Marie's ... which was so much fun b/c it was the first time in a few years the whole family was together ... our mom's were all so happy! We even had a group picture of all the ladies ... first, second, and even third generation! Our moms, ourselves, and Lauryn! My how time flies ...
Lauryn is all grown up now (as most of you already know since many of you see her quite often) ... she's no longer a "baby" but a little girl now. It's amazing to see how big she is ... and just how talkative! She's so beautiful ... I'm going to have to update the picture I have of her on my fridge b/c the one that I have (which is my favourite) is when she was a baby wearing a flower's girl dress the week before my wedding. Oh boy, she's all grown up now ...
JC and I also made some new friends during our weekend trip ... we met this lovely couple in the elevator from Germany ... and ended up spending the morning and afternoon with them touring Vancouver. It was so much fun. It is amazing how God sends people into our lives ...
Well, that's a brief update ... pictures to be posted in awhile ... gotta get through this week of exams and presentations and so forth ...
