when i was younger, i use to hate doing yard work ... now that i am older ... i am actually liking it! on friday, jc and i cleaned the backyard, and i started pulling weeds ... and starting to invision what flowers to grow and even a vegetable garden!
now, i know ... i do not have a green thumb ... actually i am so bad at even watering the plants in my own house ... BUT ... i am going to try and plant flowers and make a beautiful garden for us. i am quite excited about it.
i am actually finding gardening to be relaxing ... when we come back from our trip, i am going to buy some new gardening tools ... i already broke one of my shovels ;) maybe i'll even buy a hat and an apron with flowers! just kidding.
but i am so excited!
by the way, last week it was about 20 degrees ... and then on saturday it snowed ... and then it's up to 20 degrees again this week ... y'all gotta love Calgary folks!!!
any suggestions out there for good flowers to plant?
