... i've been asked what i want for christmas ... and to be honest, i really do not need anything ... yeah, sure there's some items i would 'like' ... but it's not necessary items ... they are just "fluff" items ... meaning, sure it would be nice, but i could live without ...
i have to be honest, and i don't know why, but it's embarrassing for me to say ... but i would rather have donations to charities rather than gifts for myself
i was researching people's "wish lists" from various agencies in calgary ... and want to know what are on some people's "wish lists" for christmas?
- toilet paper
- pens/pencils for school
- school bag
- tooth brush
- hygiene products
- socks
- shoes
- food
- toys
these are just a few items that i found ... but something as simple as toilet paper is on a person's wish list for christmas ... meaning, basic everyday items people are wishing for - that they don't have
God has blessed me with so much ... in my own opinion, i feel that i have everything i could ever need ... i have a loving husband, we have our health, our families, Isaiah ... material wise, we have a roof over a heads, a transporation system, and clothes ... God is so loving to us ... why should I ask for more?
i don't know why i'm so embarrassed to tell people what i want for christmas ... but i feel shy saying it ... but really, what i really want is for prayers for our families and for donations to be made to organizations such as The Mustard Seed (Calgary), BC Children's Wish Foundation (BC), CUPS (Calgary) or South Fraser Child Development Ctr (Surrey)
... so there you have it ... that's my personal christmas wish list ... something simple, but yet something so meaningful
