so here are the similarities and differences of going to college "back in da day" and "now"
similarities
- I still dress most comfortably ... runners, jeans (or jogging pants) and sweater
- some people still dress like they are going to the club instead of a class
- I still take naps in the library
- I still like to be on-time in class and sit closest to the door
- I still drink tons of coffee during school days
- I still park in the cheapest zone ... meanng no fee, but gotta walk a distance to the school
differences
- people are using laptops, cell phones and ipods these days ... gone are the walkmans and payphones
- my naps are only 10-15 mins now instead of 1/2 - 1 hour ... and I snore now
- although i sit closest to the door, it's always closest to the front as well
- i have a new last name ... so now instead of being in the middle of attendance check, i'm the last
- i grind my teeth now when i sleep b/c i'm nervous over an assignment or a test
- my eye glasses are stronger now and i have to pee every hour (i think my bladder shrank as i got older)
umnnn ... for me it's interesting to compare what school was like years ago and now ... but I think the best part is that i'm so happy with what i'm doing and that my husband is so supportive
well, here's to continued prayers of "A's" in my classes ... so far, God has blessed me with all A's and 1 B on all my assignments and midterms ... i feel so blessed ...
