Tidbit #1:
Last week I was walking from my car to school and noticed these posts in the parking lot. At first I didn't think anything of it, and then I looked closer and noticed there were plugs in each of the posts.
Now, why in the world would all these posts have plugs in the parking lot?
Then it dawned on me ... during winter some people plug in their cars engines b/c sometimes when it's super cold the car won't start - therefore you need a block heater to start the car.
... I thought it was pretty interesting since we never had that back home ;)
Tidbit #2
Tim Horton's coffee isn't the same when you have to put your own cream and sugar ... at school the Tim's is so busy with all the caffeine-infected students that you have to add your own cream and sugar

My parents are leaving tomorrow :( My mom has been cooking up a storm! She's made and frozen so much food that our freezer in the garage is having a hard time closing! Mom is so thoughtful, she cooked so much food that I won't have to cook while going to school ... and by the time we finish all the food, mom and dad will be back again next month!!!
Tidbit #4
I'm slowly getting use to waking up between 5:00 a.m. - 6:00 a.m. (depending on our work/school schedules) that on the days that I want to sleep in ... I can't!

a few things:
i love reading about your adventures, your travels, your reunions and so and so. and I can't believe it's your 10 year reunion this year! I still have your grad picture!
gas is SO expensive, i'm thinking about getting a civic myself! but the pilot must be a gas guzzler!
i'm flying out to winnipeg this week! (i know, i know...don't worry i'm okay) but you know what? the tickets were only 245 round trip...including taxes! isn't that nuts? that's why i can't believe how expensive it is to fly from calgary to vancouver! that's crazy!
and don't worry you're not old, i can't believe that girl said you were old (in class) haha.
i probably won't see you until christmas season!
