I don't normally write anything personal in my blog ... it's funny b/c I'm the kind of person is - what you see is what you get ... but in certain aspects I'm very private. More private than even my husband thought ...
So I guess here's some personal things about me (thought I'd write something different other than my weight gain and struggle with dieting!! ... ha.ha.)
- I don't like confrontations, but if I have something on my mind, you're going to know about it. With some people - I can sugar coat my thoughts ... others, I'll be pretty blunt and direct.
- If something bothers me, I'm not one to hide my feelings ... you're going to see it in my face and in my body language before I say it out loud ... I just don't know how to hide my feelings
- I've got a quick temper ... but most of the time I try to pray about it first and step back and look at the whole picture before saying or doing anything
- I don't hold grudges ... I think it's quite silly ...
- I'll never leave the room if I'm upset with someone (or if someone is upset with me) ... I'll stick out with that person until the situation is resolved (I use to do this a lot with my parents when i was younger)
- I don't like trash-talking ... when people trash other people, I find it sad and hurtful. I know I wouldn't like it if people trash talked me, so why do it to other people ... no one is perfect ... I'm a firm believer of treating others how you want to be treated
- I believe that one of the greatest blessings (besides Isaiah of course) to our family was Darleen and JC ...
- I love living in Calgary, and don't think we would ever move back to Surrey (however, I do miss my family and friends a lot)
- I'm more of a one-to-one person ... I'm a little shy in crowds - yes, i know doesn't seem like it, but I really am. I don't work very well in parties and in big crowds ... I would rather be in an intimate setting with a couple close friends where we can really talk
- I don't like to drink ... and I'm allergic to the smell of smoke
- My husband and I pray together every morning and evening, we always try to start our day off by reading a passage in the bible
Well, I think that's enough personal info about me! Hope that makes up for all the times I don't write "personal" blogs ...
