How's everybody doing? Just wanted to let everyone know that my lawn is doing great! (who gives right?)
See... last summer I had this personal goal of having one of the greenest and most lush lawns on the block...
Got the spreader out, loaded 'er up, set the spreader on "low" and went on spreading it on my lawn. I was a little distracted by the number of garage sales happening on the block that particular day so I was totaly unaware of the fact that my spreader was spewing out the fertilizer at the same rate a dude would be hurling his pizza after he was binge drinking.
What was supposed to cover both the front AND back yard was deposited on only half of the front yard. Two days later, 1/2 of the front yard was toasted! First brown - then bald.
As a caveat: I think I must have hit the spreader while parking in the garage over the winter season 'cause upon inspection, the spreader blades were bent and were much wider than the supposed markings (low, medium, high).
Anyways, after much work, water and money (thanks Green Drop)... the lawn is looking okay once again.
Not the greenest. Not the lushest. But at least there's some dang grass on the freak'n thing! Presently presentable.
So to all the folks that would walk by my front yard and snicker at the half bald lawn... and to all the people that would drive by - slowly - to wonder why I was mowing dirt all last summer... I just wanted to say... &@%$#*!!! (Scandanavian for "Thank you and have a nice day")
Just kidding - I don't know Scandanavian (heck I don't even know if I spelled it right).
