I haven't posted in a couple days ... so here goes:
Sunday
Happy Father's Day to all the dad's out there!
On Sunday night I went out jogging, and luckily I brought my cell phone b/c I received the cutest phone call ... guess who was on the other line ... Lauryn!!! So as I was huffing and puffing up the hill ... Lauryn was keeping me well entertained. After I got off the phone, I had a great run! It's amazing at how fast she's growing ... soon she'll be in school!
Wednesday
Yesterday was "date day" ... Love and I spent the whole day & evening downtown walking around ... checking out the jazz festival ... and just spending time together. The weather was so warm that by the time when I came home I took my sandals off ... only to find my feet red and burnt from the sun! Oh well, it was well worth it ... we had so much fun!
Thursday
We just came from the airport and mom and dad are here from Surrey!! So y'all know what that means ... my diet is out the window and I've got Mama Nellie's home cooked meals once again ... thank you Jesus!!! Nothing beats your mom's home cooked meals ...
Also - big shout out to Nicky and Mel -- Happy Anniversary !!! We miss you guys ...
