The house is quiet ...
My husband is picking up my brother-in-law at the airport ...
Everyone else is sleeping ...
... so here I am ... in my house where it is quiet and I'm alone with my thoughts ...
what do you think I'm thinking about?
Well, as sappy as it may sound, I'm thinking of my husband.
Whenever I think of JC, I think "Thank you God" ... I always remember that this is a blessing and that JC is a gift to me from God.
When I look back at our life, I think "WOW! How else could we have gotten together if it wasn't for Him?" I know I write about this a lot in my blog ... but it's something that's constantly on my mind.
I'm a firm believer in always giving thanks to God for my blessings ... I know that all that I have in my life - my family, my friends, my everyday - is because of our Lord.
So whenever I'm alone, or whenever I have a spare moment ... even if it's something simple as walking to the mail box - I always give thanks for my blessings ...
Being alone with my thoughts ain't such a bad thing b/c it gives me my one-on-one time with God ... I pray and talk to God all day long (sometimes it looks like I'm talking to myself!!) - 99% of the time I fall asleep I'm talking and praying ... I always feel comforted in knowing that there's someone greater watching over me and my family.
