The Flood Gates

My parents left for home this afternoon. Actually, their flight just landed a little go (Thank you God for a safe and smooth flight).

For some reason, I can't stop crying. All morning, I had a hard time keeping my tears at bay, then when I had to say bye at the gate, I couldn't hold it in anymore. And now the flood gates are open ... I can't seem to close them.

At the gate, my dad was hugging me while I was crying ... and I just couldn't stop. You know, you try to put on a brave face, but I just couldn't do it.

I don't know why I'm having such a hard time, but I am, and I can't stop from feeling sad.

To be honest, the only thing that is helping me with this (beside praying of course) is that mom and dad get to see Isaiah tomorrow. (lucky them).

Well, I guess it's just part of growing up. My parents had to go through the same thing, so if they can handle it - I guess so can I.

I am so thankful for the time JC and I had with my parents. It was so much fun, and we spent so much quality time together ... we had long talks ... lots of jokes ... and of course ... lots of meals.

I can't wait to see them again (soon, please God) ... and of course, Kuya, Darleen and Isaiah (soon, please God)

I have to face the flood gates too, when my Mom and dad leave a week from now. Boo hoo :( I hope it'll get better in time.

i think the "flood gates" will get better in time ... missing our family though ... umnn ... i miss them more so now than i did when i first moved here ... but the emails and daily talks with the family helps ... esp the pictures and video clips of isaiah ... if you need a shoulder to cry on next week - you know you can always call ...
