Yesterday was my first time driving to the NorthEast by myself (we live in the NorthWest) ... quite the adventure I must say ;) I had a couple errands to run in the NE and I thought I knew the way ... well, of course I got lost ... by the time I finally found my 2nd destination - dropped off the stuff, picked up some more ... I only has 1/2 an hour to get home. I was a little bit in a panic b/c I took a wrong turn and ending up taking a way home that I've never driven by myself so I was a little unsure ... I was thinking, now is not the time Kim to be trying out different routes ... well, after some serious praying - I got home before the taxi dropped off the guys ... (doesn't look too good if the taxi drops off the guys and no one is home!!!) I was even able to get dinner started ... ah Thank God!
... and this morning ... I was not too keen on shoveling the driveway and walkway at 6:30 am ... not something this Surrey girl is use to. I was going to be lazy and not do it, but I got scared that one of the guys would slip while walking to their ride to work ... so out I went all bundled up with my walkman. Didn't take too long and it wasn't as chilly as I thought.
Well, today is another busy day ... I hope the roads aren't too bad b/c I have a lot of errands to do and the idea of driving in the snow isn't too appealing ...
Oh well ... here I go ...
