My dad has been working on making a patio deck in our backyard the past couple days. It amazes me at how he can work so hard all day long at making this patio by himself and yet still be in such a good mood at the end of the night.
Anne-Marie calls dad "jack of all trades" ... it's funny b/c people always call dad for help on anything and everything - ranging from cars to computers to electrical ... i wish i could be like my dad ... but - "jill of all trades"
So while dad is making the patio deck - mom is in the kitchen preparing food and the house for the upcoming wedding and our out of town guests. Whenever mom is in the kitchen I'm always asking her questions about the food she's making ... how do you do this? why did you add that ingredient? how do you know how much ingredients to put? I wonder if I'll ever be able to cook like my mom?
